We are lucky in Australia. For the most part, winter is not so cool and so we are able to rock lighter, more flowing pieces during even the coldest months. But when buying a new jumpsuit you will want to look at those with more coverage to keep the chill off while out and about, especially at night. Try a piece with longer legs like our Emerie Pleated Leg Jumpsuit, even ones that flow are perfect to wear from June onwards. They can also be utilised during summer, but steer away from anything that exhibits shorts or shows off too much skin. This will ensure that you are warm and comfortable, while still styling!
Next, you can either opt for full sleeves or straps up top. Try and keep away from short sleeves in winter, as straps allow for a cover up or coat to be worn over the top and with long sleeves you are better off in the cool winter breeze. Anything that shows off your shoulders lets you show off inside and pop a jacket over the top when you venture out into the cold. Coupled with full legs, these will keep you trendy as well as warm on a long night out.
Pairing with a thicker belt will accentuate your waist and is a great accessory to pair with almost any jumpsuit. They are generally pulled in at the waist, so it will be easy to slide a belt over the top and they are also likely to be a thinner material, so not as much bunching when a belt is worn. Find one that is versatile and sleek, such as black, white or tan. Or, if you prefer neutral coloured jumpsuits, you may even want to invest in a sweet patterned belt to complete your outfit.
So, when investigating outfits to finish off your 2021 winter wardrobe, why not try a jumpsuit or two? They will certainly be turning heads this coming season.
